Microbitests
Microbitests are a practical tool for quick, affordable, and simple determination of basic groups of microorganisms during microbiological inspections in the food industry. Thanks to this method, it is possible to systematically monitor the level of sanitation and compliance with technological processes, which contributes to ensuring high quality and safety of food.
How do microbitests work?
The method is based on special paper strips that:
- Are impregnated with a nutrient medium containing indicators and selective reagents.
- Have high absorbency for easy use.
- Are packaged in polyethylene bags that also serve as a culture medium.
The procedure is simple: the strips are moistened, placed in bags, and cultured in a thermostat at optimal temperatures, with the results reflecting the presence and quantity of the microorganisms being monitored.
Microbitests are the ideal solution for fast microbiological controls directly in operation.
Types of microbite tests - according to groups of microorganisms determined:
CA 1,2,3 - for the determination of coliform bacteria
K 1,2,3 - for the determination of yeast
P 1,2,3 - for the determination of mold
PRPM 1,2,3 - for determining reducing microorganisms
CA 4 - for detecting coliform bacteria in liquids with low levels of contamination (e.g., post-sanitation rinse water)
P 5 - for determining airborne mold contamination
CH 1, 2, 3 - for simultaneous determination of coliform bacteria and E. coli
Note:
modification 1 - for normal liquids
modification 2 - for viscous liquids
modification 3 - imprint method
Microbitests marked 1, 2, and 3 are packaged in sets of 40, while tests marked 4 and 5 are packaged in sets of 2 in one shipping package.
Fosfatest – Reliable detection of low milk pasteurization
Phosphatest is a simple and effective tool for checking and maintaining hygiene standards in the dairy industry. It allows you to verify the pasteurization process based on the presence or absence of phosphatase in milk. This enzyme is commonly found in raw milk, and its inactivation is an indicator of proper pasteurization.
