MLÉKAŘSKÉ LISTY – ZPRAVODAJ

Mlékařské listy journal

The magazine has been published in print since 1990 (ISSN 1212-950X). It is published six times a year. The periodical is managed by an editorial board.

Focus:

The journal focuses on the dairy industry. It publishes research results, provides information on news in the dairy industry, legislation, professional conferences and seminars, reports on the dairy industry in the Czech Republic, the activities of the Czech-Moravian Dairy Association (ČMSM) and the International Dairy Federation (IDF) and its National Committee, and information from schools and dairies. The aim is to inform a wide range of dairy workers in research, technical schools, and practice about news and results in the field.

An important factor is the speed and timeliness of information, as well as financial self-sufficiency (the journal is not sponsored). The increased interest of research institutes and universities in publishing professional articles has created a need to expand the scope of the journal and thus increase its circulation. For this reason, and in order to maintain the shortest possible publication deadlines after the review process, a fee of CZK 500 per standard page of manuscript has been introduced since 2010. A review process was introduced in 2003 for professional articles published in the journal Mlékařské listy-zpravodaj in the Science and Research section. In 2008, the journal was included by the Government Council for Science and Research in the list of peer-reviewed non-impacted periodicals published in the Czech Republic.

The journal is cited in the international database Food Science and Technology Abstracts and in the Czech Agricultural and Food Bibliography.
